Artist Statement For Iconic Photo

                                                                       "Bath Time"
                                                         Recreation Of An Iconic Photo
For This Project I Used My Phone It's a Galaxy Note 4 Camera And The Studio Editor That Is On My Phone I Used Alot Of Effects To Get It That Way. I Used A High Angle For This Picture And I Really Took My Time To Position The Model Just Right . I Made This Piece Because I'm A Big Fan Of Angelina Jolie And It Was A Really Good Picture Of Her That Doesnt Show To Much Skin . I Used Emphasis For This Photo By Leading Your Eye Right To Her Face. I Also Used Contrast For This Photo Because The Colors Seem To Balance Put Evenly.I Used Lines In This Photo Because The Lines Of The Tattoo Lead You To Her Face . I Also Used Value Because The Picture Goes From Dark To Light . I Arranged The Elements By Getting The Water As Close As I Can To The Color In The Original Photo .The Message I Would Want To Communicate Through This Picture Is That Tattoo's Don't Change A Person And Everyone's Body Is Perfect Just The Way It Is . The Stengths Of This Picture Is The Angle Coming From Above Because It Makes The Body Look Thinner And It's A Better Outcome. Another Strength Of This Is The Color Because It Shows Value Going From Light To Dark . Next Time I Can Improve On Better,Leading Lines And The Form Of The Photo . In My Opinion I Think I Did Really Good On Recreating This Photo It Took Alot More Time Then I Expected It To Take .

Artist Statement

                         Alyssa Sanchez
                           My Hometown
                           Trojan Strong
Medium: The materials I used while taking this photo is my phone and photo shop app that I have on my phone. I also used an angle while taking this photo.
Technique:I Used Time and focus to take this picture I had to take my time with this photo because if you used speed then it would be blurry and a non quality photo.
Influences:I Made This Piece because it has a story behind it. This is telling you that Thornton is my hometown and that I will forever bleed blue and our class will leave a legacy behind
EOA's:It Shows Contrast  And Emphasis. It shows Contrast because there is a bunch of colors in the picture but they come together to make a good photo. It shows emphasis because your eye goes straight to the Trojan in the middle then you see the message on the outside and around the trojan.
POD's:It Shows Balance And Color And Line.It shows balance because it has the same amount of room on the top and the bottom and the message is in the middle. It shows color because it brings out the blue in the photo and you also see lots of white in this photo.  It shows line because throughout the tiles it has lines running through it and it also has lines throughout the letters.
Arrangements:I Arranged It By A Good View And The Colors How The Angle Was Good I also decided to take it from a lower angle because it brings out the lines in the photo.
Message:The Only Message I Want People To Get From This Is That It Communicates What School We Go To and that Thornton is our home town. I was hoping to let people know that We care about our hometown and our school.
Strengths:The Color Is Probably My Biggest Strength In This Photo as long with the lines in the picture I feel like it makes it a more interesting photo.
Improvement:I Can Take Different Angles To Show A Better Picture Or i can take it from up above and show a better angle
Opinion:I Think I Did Well And The Angle Of This Was Good Even If I Didn't Move It To Much

Artisit Statement For Leading Lines

Artist Statement
Leading Lines
Embrace The Long Road Titled Life
Technique: The art process I used for this picture was the speed to take the phots because it was in the mountains there were cars that would drive by very fast. So it was very fast pace it took us about 2 hours to capture the right photo.
Medium: The materials used for this picture was a phone and photoshop and it was taken on the camera app on my phone.
Influences:I made this piece because there is a story behind it. Roads eventually come to an end but when you are halfway to your destination there is more life to life so therfore life goes on.
EOA'S: I used Emphasis by directing your eyes to the person in the middle of the road.
POD'S:There is a bunch of color because the yellow for the lines. There is also lines used in this image because the line is leading you to the person in the road. The last is space because theres space between the road.
Arrangement: I arranged it by making sure the road was leading off the page.
Message:It communicates to the viewer that you have to take in the long road that is titled life so life goes on just like the road.
Strengths: I belive that the color and the message are my strenghts throught this photo.
Improvment:I belive I can change the scenery maybe make it on a busy street or a street that is close to home.
Opinion:In my opinion I belive this is a really good piece that i spent lots of time trying to come up with and i finally found a good idea
